I'm Erin, it's so nice to meet you

I've loved stories ever since I was a kid, listening to my dad read tales of magic trees and fairies. Now, with a BA in film production and a deep love of storytelling (plus a BookTok obsession - shoutout to my Throne of Glass girlies!), I'm honored to capture the real life love stories of couples living their own happily ever after.
More than anything, I believe that every couple's story is unique and deserves to be told in a way that truly reflects who they are. That's why I take the time to understand each couple - their personalities, their love, and the little moments that make their relationship special. My goal is to create a wedding film that feels authentically them, a piece of their story they can cherish forever
At Arthurian Affairs, everything begins with understanding the people in front of the camera. Before we talk timelines or logistics, I focus on learning who you are as a couple - what matters to you, the dynamics that make your relationship unique, and the moments you genuinely want to remember. When I arrive on your wedding day, my goal is to work quietly and respectfully in the background, capturing interactions as they happen rather than creating them. I'm committed to documenting your day with clarity, honesty, and a strong sense of purpose.
I recognise the responsibility that comes with being the one to preserve these moments. Weddings move fast, and emotions shift quickly, but the way they're documented is what lasts. That understanding is at the core of how I work: intentional choices, careful attention, and a promise to represent your day in a way that feels truly you - not overly produced, not distracted by trends, but grounded in real connection.

Arthurian affairs has grown from a simple love for storytelling into something that genuinely means a lot to me. Building this business has shown me the impact a well-told story can have on a family for years to come. It's a privilege I don't take for granted. Every wedding carries a different kind of significance, and being trusted to capture that is something I'm deeply proud of.

When i’m not filming, you can usually find me curled up with a fantasy novel, crying over Merlin for the millionth time, or sending my friends entirely too many quotes.
This deep connection to the things I love is what guides the way I tell your story. When you invite me into your day, our stories overlap for a moment in time - your favorite details, the people you adore, the quiet magic of your relationship become the threads I weave into your gallery. What matters to you becomes what matters to me.

MY STYLE

On a wedding day, my goal is to blend in, capturing the little moments that often go unnoticed - the tight hugs between parents, the secret smiles of siblings, the excited fidgeting of kids and, of course, the quiet, nervous anticipation between the bride and groom. I want everything to feel natural, like a glimpse into the day as it truly happened, full of raw emotions and unscripted joy.
That being said, I also believe in the saying my dad has always told me: you're never too old to have fun. I love documenting the moments when people finally let loose - when the formalities fade, and the dance floor fills with laughter, twirls, and maybe even some slightly questionable dance moves.
But I have to admit, I'm also a sucker for cinematic shots. There's something about those quiet, romantic moments during portraits that just complete the story. Whether it's a couple who speaks their love through soft embraces and shy kisses or one that thrives on grand, sweeping gestures, those intimate moments are so precious. They're the pause between the whirlwind, the part where time seems to slow down just for them - and I love capturing every second of it
